Established 2020 · Two teaching divisions

Empowering Students,InspiringFuture Engineers.

KOA Learning Group runs two divisions from one standard of practice. KOA STEM builds engineers — at home, inside schools, online and across 2 centres. KOA Tuition takes care of the everyday subjects, at home or on screen.

Structure§ 01

Two divisions.
Five ways to be taught.

Most providers pick one delivery route and force every family into it. We built the group the other way round: choose the division that matches the need, then choose how the teaching reaches you.

KOA STEMDiv. 01

Engineering taught by
people who have built things.

Our STEM educators are practising engineers, researchers and developers. Sessions end with something that runs, moves or compiles — because a working artefact is the only honest assessment of understanding.

Programme catalogue2026/27 intake
ST-101Ages 8–16

Robotics & Mechatronics

Chassis design, gearing, sensor arrays and autonomous navigation. Students finish with a machine that works, not a worksheet.

ST-204Ages 9–18

Coding & Software Craft

Scratch to Python to TypeScript. Version control, testing and code review taught the way real engineering teams work.

ST-310Ages 13–18

Applied AI & Data

Datasets, model behaviour, bias and evaluation. Students build a small model and then argue honestly about its limits.

ST-118Ages 10–18

Electronics & Embedded

Breadboards, soldering, microcontrollers and firmware. Every learner leaves with a working board they built themselves.

ST-402Ages 12–18

Science & Maths Quiz Training

Structured NSMQ preparation: speed rounds, riddles, problem-of-the-day and true contest conditions with a bell and a clock.

ST-256Ages 11–18

Laboratory Sciences

Practical biology, chemistry and physics with genuine apparatus. Method, measurement error and honest write-ups.

KOA Tuition — the normal subjectsDiv. 02

Maths on Tuesday.
English on Thursday.

The unglamorous work that moves a school report: comprehension, algebra, essay structure, revision technique. One specialist tutor, the same weekly hour, at your home or live online.

M/01Div. 02

At Home

A specialist tutor travels to your home at a fixed weekly slot. Nothing to set up, no data to buy, and a parent within earshot of the whole hour.

At Home tuition with KOA
M/02Div. 02

Online

Live one-to-one on our own lesson platform: shared whiteboard, WAEC past-question library and a recording of every session kept for twelve months.

How enrolment works§ 02

Four steps, and a plan you can hold.

Identical for both divisions. Nothing is charged until you have read the written learning plan and approved the tutor.

  1. 01

    Diagnostic call

Thirty minutes with an education lead. We map current attainment, target aggregate or grade, and the actual sticking points.

  2. 02

    Tutor match

You are shortlisted two or three educators with the right subject depth and the right temperament. You choose.

  3. 03

    Learning plan

A written twelve-week plan with measurable checkpoints, issued before the first paid lesson takes place.

  4. 04

    Review & report

Progress reviewed every six weeks against the plan. If it is not moving, we change the approach or the tutor.

What every family gets

  • A written twelve-week learning plan before the first paid lesson
  • A named education lead you can call directly, not a ticket queue
  • Enhanced background checks on every educator, renewed annually
  • Six-weekly progress review against measurable checkpoints
  • Tutor change at any time, no fee and no awkward conversation
Where we are§ 03

Two centres, three regions.

Flagship sites carry full electronics and fabrication labs. Studios run coding, mathematics and small-group tuition. Every centre is open to both divisions.

The robotics tutor arrived with a crate of parts and a plan. Six months later my daughter is explaining PID control to me over waakye and I understand perhaps a third of it.

We had tried three agencies. KOA was the first to send a written learning plan before asking for money, and the first whose tutor turned up on time every single week.

They rebuilt our JHS science scheme and trained eleven of our staff. Practical uptake at WASSCE is up 34% in two years. The partnership pays for itself.
